Welcome to Facenova: Face Swap AI (“Facenova”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Your privacy and safety are important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

• Images you upload: You may upload or capture photos to perform face swapping. These images are processed temporarily on secure servers solely to generate the requested face-swap result and are automatically deleted after processing.
  
  The app performs temporary automated face detection only to locate the face region required for the effect. We do not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or identity verification. No facial templates, landmarks, embeddings, or identifiers are stored.
• App usage data: We may collect anonymous technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash logs to improve performance and stability.
• Advertising data: The app may display ads through trusted third-party ad networks. These partners may collect limited non-personal data (such as device type or approximate region) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Information

Uploaded images and any associated face data are used only to generate the user-requested face-swap output.

Facenova does not:

• Identify or verify individuals
• Track users across apps or services
• Use images or face data for analytics, profiling, or advertising
• Train artificial intelligence or machine learning models

3. Data Storage & Retention

All uploaded images and any derived face data are retained only for the short duration required to generate the face-swap result. Once processing is complete, all such data is automatically deleted.

We do not maintain long-term storage or archives of user photos, face data, or generated outputs.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or face data.

Limited information may be processed by trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting or infrastructure services) solely to operate the app. These providers do not receive access to user identity or face data and are contractually required to comply with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA where applicable).

5. Content Policy & Safety

Facenova is intended for creative and responsible use. Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, generating, or sharing:

• Sexually explicit, nude, or pornographic content
• Images involving minors in unsafe or suggestive contexts
• Non-consensual images, impersonations, or deceptive deepfakes
• Violent, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content
• Content that violates copyright, trademark, or other legal rights

We may automatically block or remove prohibited content. Repeated violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of access.

6. Ownership & User Responsibility

You retain ownership of your images. By uploading content, you grant Facenova a temporary, limited license to process the images solely to generate the requested face-swap result.

You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights and consents to use the images you upload.

7. Children’s Privacy

Facenova is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from children. If such data is identified, it will be promptly deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for misuse of the app or content uploaded by users.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent version. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or on our website.
